Family Suites
The Loerie and the Owl Suites: We have two Beautifully furnished family suites each with open plan lounge and kitchen and two separate bedrooms, one king size and one twin room. The lounge and master bedroom open onto private sunset facing decks, complete with floating ‘braais’ overlooking the indigenous forested valley and gardens.

Couple Suites
The Protea and The Pincushion Suites: We have two gorgeous spacious open plan suites with king size beds, full equipped kitchens and private sunset facing decks complete with floating ‘braais’ overlooking the indigenous forested valley and beautiful gardens.

The Suites: IN ROOM FACILITIES:
– Fully fitted kitchens with gas hob, electric oven, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, crockery, cutlery, cook/bakeware, cleaning products and breakfast bar
– Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, rusks and milk
– Bathrooms with toilet, washstand basin with storage, extra tall walk in shower, handmade soap and towels
– DSTV, Air Conditioning, alarm system and free WIFI
– Lounge with Coricraft couches and coffee table
– Private decks overlooking the forest with barbeque facilities, hammocks, benches, dining area and fabulous sunset and forest views
– Hand crafted bespoke furniture and décor

The Nest
“The Nest” is our Woodlands latest budget option and entirely family designed and built tiny loft cabin in a indigenous garden setting. Queen size bed, open plan living room, fully equipped kitchen, Air conditioning, BBQ and contemporary handmade rare wood furniture and decor – small, simple but exquisitely comfortable.

The Nest: IN ROOM FACILITIES:
– Twenty square meters timber frame cabin with a ten square meters loft bedroom
– Fully fitted kitchen with two plate gas hob, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, crockery, cutlery, cookware, cleaning products and indoor/outdoor breakfast bar
– Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, rusks and milk
– Queen size bed with fine percale linen
– Bathroom with toilet, basin, gas geyser shower only, handmade soap and towels
– Air Conditioning
– Lounge area with custom made day bed and coffee table
– Deck and private ‘courtyard’ with barbeque facilities overlooking the garden, small dam and playground

Please note that the Nest stairs are quite narrow and steep and the loft bedroom has a low ceiling on the one side. There is also no TV in the Nest

“Wonderful, tranquil accommodation on the Rheenendal Road (part of the Knysna forest). We stayed in the family unit (second time we are visiting). It has everything you need. Close enough to Knysna (shops & activities), but also close enough to the forest and its walking trails. There’s also a Sunday market close by.
Loads of activities and beautiful scenery in the area or just have a braai at ‘home’. You can even go on a hike from the property through the forest. Definitely worth a visit.”- Janitha de Kock

“Luxurious rooms set in beautiful gardens with a stunning view over indigenous forests to the mountains in the west.
Rooms was incredibly welcoming with every detail being well considered and adding to the overall experience.
Bed and bedding was very comfortable, with exquisite linen and enough towels.
While the rusks & milk etc. was appreciated – the sherry added an unexpected level of welcome and indulgence.
