Set in the tranquil farmland of the Eastern Free State, the Fat Mulberry Guest farm offers luxurious self-catering accommodation with breath-taking
views of the Malutin Mountains.

All the apartments are individually decorated with beautiful and unusual furnishings.

The apartments all have WiFi, DStv and their own braai facilities. The rooms are serviced daily.

The Gate House Apartment is pet-friendly.

The guesthouse can sleep up to 25 guests in 13 bedrooms, with either a king or 2 single beds, except in the Chameleon Room & Gate House. Cots and extra beds are available on request.

There are 5 self-catering apartments & the Chameleon Room. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen.

The Chameleon Room has a kettle, microwave and small fridge.

There is plenty of space at the Fat Mulberry for the kids to play.

Fireplaces and electric blankets will keep you warm and cosy in winter.

There is secure parking and the guest house is enclosed by electric fence. Each apartment has a safe.

Top Deck Apartment

Overview

The upstairs Top Deck Apartment has amazing views of the surrounding farmlands and Maluti mountains.

The apartment has one en-suite bedroom with a shower and two bedrooms sharing a bathroom with a bath.

There is also a single bed on the landing.

The spacious open-plan dining room & lounge has a fire place and fully equipped kitchen.

The lovely undercover wooden deck has braai facilities

Maluti View Apartment

The spacious and beautifully decorated Maluti View Apartment is perfect for large families or a group of friends looking for a getaway.

The Maluti View has 3 en-suite bedrooms.

2 of the bathrooms have a shower and the third a beautiful bath to soak in

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped.

The glass doors in the lounge-dining room open up onto the garden, which loverlooks the Maluti Mountains.

The apartment has a pool table

Honey Apartment

The elegant and beautifully decorated Honey Apartment has a spacious bedroom and lounge in-one, with a fireplace to keep you warm and cosy in winter.

The sweet little farm-style kitchen is fully equipped.

The bathroom has both bath and shower.

The private patio has wonderful mountain views and braai facilities.

Gate House Apartment

The picturesque Gate House Apartment has a securely fenced garden and is the perfect option for guests travelling with their pets.

The Gate House has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely covered balcony.

The main bedroom which sleeps 2 and the small single bedroom share a strikingly decorated bathroom with a shower.

In the main bedroom there is a cosy sitting area around the fireplace and television.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dining table.

The Wooden Room has its own entrance off the balcony and sleeps 2 in a queen bed. It has an en-suite bathroom with a shower

The covered balcony is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sunrise.

Family Apartment

The stylish Family Apartment has a quirky retro style.

There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower.

The spacious all-in-one kitchen, dining room and lounge leads out onto a lovely private patio with views of the farmlands and Maluti mountains.

Cameleon Room

The Chameleon Room is cosy and just right for one.

It is perfect for guests busy on business, those needing to get away on their own or teenagers needing their own space.

The Chameleon room is equipped with a small fridge, kettle & microwave (no kitchen).

The bathroom has a shower.

The fireplace & electric blanket will keep you warm and snug in winter.
