Skeiding is a working farm near Heidelberg in the Western Cape. Situated halfway between Cape Town and Knysna on the N2, this homely family farm is popular with both locals and tourists.

It’s considered the ideal stopover on a journey to or from the Garden Route – but you’ll most likely end up wanting to stay an extra night or three.

Boasting panoramic views of the Langeberg Mountains, Skeiding exudes a sense of innate tranquillity, old world charm and warm hospitality – ideal for a rejuvenating weekend away.

The campsite is perched high on a hill with never-ending eagle’s views, where the campsite is yours, and yours alone. The campsite is completely exclusive and can only be booked by one group of friends or family at a time. Kick up your feet and relax with a good book next to a crackling fire or the peaceful sound of silence and birdsong in your ears for a soul-enriching camping experience that will take you back to your roots.
