Melk Houte Bosch Guest Farm is an active working farm situated 34km outside of Swellendam towards Malgas/Infanta with sheep, cattle and fields of oats, wheat, barley and canola. A herd of Springbok, Elande, donkeys and zebras graze peacefully around here.

We offer hiking for the bird watchers, rowing/fishing on the Breede River and cycling routes for the adventurous. Do you like comfort and enjoy cozy living and peace? No traffic with loads of clean fresh air? Then Melk Houte Bosch Guest Farm is your ideal weekend or holiday destination.

The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse boasts 3 spacious bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, big cosy family room with a fire place, TV and DSTV.

There are indoor BBQ facilities as well as table tennis.

6 People are comfortably accommodated.

The Manor House

The Manor House has 4 luxury bedrooms, all en-suit, air cons and crisp white line. A fully equipped spacious kitchen and living area. A Lovey dining table that seats 10 people as well as a large stoep with an indoor barbecue, table tennis, pool table as well as DSTV.

The swimming pool offers amazing views of the surrounding area and Langeberg Mountains. Ideal for a large family or two families traveling together. Team building groups are also welcome

There is an inside barbecue, that can also be used as a fireplace in the winter.
