Leopard’s Kloof Luxury Camp

Set deep in the mountains down a secluded valley you will find Leopard’s Kloof Camp. Designed to make guests feel like explorers from a time past, Leopard’s Kloof has every luxury you might need on your adventure into the mountains.

The main luxury tented unit consists of; A lounge with a large Chesterfield sofa and 2 armchairs. A fully equipped kitchen with all cooking utensils. A bedroom with a small study area and king-sized bed with premium bed linen. And a bathroom with a large bath, steps lead out to the outdoor shower which boasts incredible views down the valley. We supply guests with hand made soaps and body products that are organic, chemical-free and made with fynbos essential oils.

Follow the walkways around the camp to the Pool that comes equipped with a wood-burning heater to transform it into a hot-tub! The braai area and outdoor lounge has a large braai/barbecue and a pizza oven. All utensils, pizza making tools, braai grids and a poitjie pot are supplied as well as wood for the braai, oven and hot tub.

Leopard’s Kloof is completely off-grid and runs on solar energy. This is used to power lights inside and outside a well as the fridge. There are no electrical appliances or plug point in the cabin.

Leopard’s Kloof is 100% private and secluded, the nearest people are 4km back down the road which has a dead-end at the camp and is for guest access only.

*Please Note: Wolwehoek is a nature reserve, there is a possibility you will encounter animals, insects, reptiles, etc which we have no control over. The cabin is 4km down a 4X4 access road and sometimes in bad weather the road can become tricky.

“Our first time here. It is just as good as the website and other reviews. If you want solitude and privacy this is the place. The amazing amount of wildlife was an added benefit.
We went in December so where worried about the heat, it got up to 34 degrees, but the tent was wonderfully cool, so no problems there, also between the tub and the shower plenty of options to cool off.
Really good value for money, don’t hesitate, book it !”- Lance Bailey

“Great escape from civilisation! We had a lovely stay. The tent is well equipped and the surroundings were amazing. Beautiful sounds of nature and beautiful views from the hiking trails. We were fully relaxed after the weekend.

Just remember to bring dry wood, especially if rain is in the forecast! And the route to the tent is definitely 4×4, but very enjoyable and scenic!”- Celise Carinus

“72 hours without seeing a single other human being and being off the grid — sublime.

The location is breathtaking. The accommodation is beautiful.

The hiking is challenging because there are no well marked paths. And yet, that is part of the charm, spending hours exploring the majestic mountains was very special.

Will definitely be back!”- Aarnout Brombacher
