Nima Lodge, Garden Route

Luxury Wooden Cabins

Nima Lodge offers private, self-catering accommodation along the Garden Route in Wilderness, South Africa. With expansive views across wooded hills and valleys to the distant Outeniqua mountains, you’ll feel like you’re a world apart. Our lodge consists of three spacious and custom chalets, fully equipped with everything you’ll need to enjoy your stay.

Each cabin comes with a fully equipped kitchen including a two plate induction stove, a convection oven, mini bar fridge and all cooking utensils.

A Lapa is a traditional South African structure, constructed out of wooden beams with a thatched roof. Our version includes floor to ceiling windows, a wrap around balcony and lots and lots of light.

We offer breakfast in our central lapa, where you can wile away your time on the pool deck or join us for a yoga class. Nestled on a sunny hill, the lodge is a short stroll from the Touw River and waterfalls in Wilderness National Park as well as a number of other excellent hiking routes. The attention to detail, friendly service and beautiful location make this a perfect stop on your trip, and an ideal honeymoon location.

We want you to enjoy the beautiful area the lodge is in as much as we do, and so offer a variety of thoughtful amenities and extras:

  • Morning yoga
  • Guided hikes (or just advice on which of the many routes to take)
  • Tea and coffee facilities
  • Fully equipped kitchen in each chalet
  • Lapa with shared lounge area, sundeck and pool

A note on our road, the last stretch can seem challenging, however all cars can do it. So just remember to breath, go slowly and we will see you on the other side.

“Best stay so far in SA. Vida and Anthony are great hosts and the place is just breathtaking. Great to relax and take some time off. You can also explore the Wilderness National Park very easily by foot from the lodge.”
