“If you travel north on the N7 you will stumble upon this gem in the very heart of Namaqua land where old world charm meets country hospitality. You arrive a stranger, but you definitely leave as friends. Friendly, efficient and professional staff ensure excellent service. Warm and friendly atmosphere and lively chatter add to the ambiance. Wooden fireplace and deep couches invite you to settle down in the lounge. This is definitely on my “to revisit soon” list. Make sure you turn off the highway and experience this beautiful place for yourself.”

“i was on a five day tour up the west coast and the namaqualand national park. i thought to myself what i need now is a good old school hotel but please one not stuck in 1970’s. this is an old school hotel not stuck in the 1970’s. it has been very tastefully renovated. the food is excellent and the service is what you should expect in za, friendly, respectful but don’t be in a rush. i spent a magic evening with the owners over drinks from the well stocked bar and we talked about farms and diamonds and and and. truly a gem that i will return to!”

“We were so lucky to find this “gem” in Kamieskroon.
The hotel has been so beautifully decorated, with great love and care. The owners are amazing, the food excellent and the bed was extremely comfortable.
We highly recommended this as a stop over if on the way to the Kgalagadi or if you want to treat yourself to seeing the flowers in the flower season.
They also have a gorgeous shop that sells amazing soft furnishings and other Nik naks.
A definite must is the Malva pudding.”
