The Manor House

Designed with families and larger groups in mind, our prestigious Manor House offers generous space, relaxed comfort, and the ultimate in privacy and freedom. Sleeping up to 10 guests across five well-appointed bedrooms, the Manor House is the perfect base for those who want to experience the magic of the African bush entirely on their own terms.

Two of the bedrooms feature open-plan en-suite bathrooms with corner bathtubs and private outdoor showers, one bedroom offers a private en-suite with an indoor shower, and the remaining two bedrooms share a well-appointed bathroom. Please note that one of the bedrooms is accessed via the outdoor patio and may not be suitable for young children.

Spend your evenings gathered around the private braai and boma area under a sky full of stars, cook up a feast in the fully equipped kitchen, or unwind in the spacious lounge. Guests of the Manor House also enjoy easy walking access to the main lodge facilities – including the swimming pool, cocktail bar, viewing deck, and restaurant. Planning to dine at the lodge? A great lodge with great activities and delicious food. Nicole, Bobo, chef Anika, all very sweet great people. The morning walk in the bush, the safari and the South African braai (BBQ) with all the guests in a very nice atmosphere. We would definitely go back here!”

““UNFORGETTABLE SAFARI ADVENTURE”
We didn’t know what to expect when booking a safari tour, and Thornhill made the experience unforgettable. Everything was organised perfectly for us, and tailored personally by the staff for our activities and dining. Our tour guide’s knowledge was second to none with no question he couldn’t answer, and the unexpected highlight of the trip was just how good the food was, all made fresh on site. Saw lots of wildlife including buffalo, monkeys and zebra right outside our room!
Would recommend to anyone considering safari. And make sure to check out the sunset deck!”
