The camp is set up on the sandstone cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean and Witsand in the distance. Guests have access to private beaches below the camp and can enjoy the day sunbathing or cooling off in the ocean.

Ten (10) guest tents are set up to ensure privacy and each will have a view of the ocean. Each tent has its own private ablution block with a chemical toilet and bucket shower with the shower also overlooking the ocean.

Rates:

R 850 pp sharing per night DBB R 1000 single person per night DBB

Child Policy:

Children will be permitted at the camp on the following conditions:
Parents take full responsibility for children at all times. No babysitting facilities are on offer
Children under the age of 18 to share with parents in their tent if they are to pay the reduced rates.
Children 0 – 10 years: no children under 10 years
Children 10– 12 years: R 500 per child per night – dinner and breakfast
Children 13 – 18 years: R 550 per child per night – dinner and breakfast
Maximum of 1 child to share with parents.
Children occupying their own tent are to pay full adult rate.

The Tents:

Our tents are all situated along the sandstone cliffs overlooking the ocean. The 10 tents each sleep 2 adults and have a private ablution with chemical toilet and bucket shower.

The tents have 2 single beds, some of the tents can be converted into queen bedded tents on request.

The tent is furnished with:

coil mattresses pillows, duvets & blankets towels guest amenities camping chairs rechargeable / solar light cupboard & side table

The Food:

Breakfast and dinner is included in our rate and is served buffet style in our dining tent set up on the cliff overlooking the ocean.

Breakfasts consist of a continental buffet and fry up served per plate. Fruit juice and coffee & tea is included.

Dinner is 3 courses and comprises South African inspired dishes and are served buffet style.

The common areas:

Our Bedouin tent houses the dining area for breakfast and dinner, the bar and lounge area. The Bedouin is set up on the site of an old shed. The view is of the ocean and we will have a fire pit out front to enjoy the night sky.
The Bedouin has a clear front wall so even if the weather is bad outside it is nice and cozy inside and the view unobstructed.

The access road is 9km off the tar road between Heidelberg and Witsand – directions will be sent to guests once a booking is confirmed. We do recommend a high clearance vehicle but can accommodate guests with sedan cars. We will park your vehicle at a safe location and transfer you to the camp for the last 1km.
