Lankverwacht Guest Farm is situated on 800 hectares of open space between Vanrhynsdorp and Nieuwoudtville. We offer two secluded Karoo cottages with warm, romantic, cosy fireplaces for winter, and gas-operated stoves and geysers.

Lankverwacht farm is situated on the R27, 20 km outside the quiet, crime-free country town of Vanrhynsdorp, bounded by mountains to one side, with views out over the quartz plains of the Knersvlakte, and close to the Olifants River wine route. Spring-time brings a glorious show of wild flowers of Namaqualand whenever precious rains have fallen.

Lankverwacht Guest Farm Accommodation

Accommodation comprises 2 cottages, a caravan home, and 4 campsites. The cottages are private and both are fully equipped for self-catering. A fireplace ensures a warm and romantic evening. Braai facilities are available at both units.

The caravan home is fully equipped and has been extended with a built-on living area and en-suite bathroom.

For the campers, we offer 4 overnight stands with water and braai facilities. Ablution facilities 200 m from stands. Please note that there are no power at the stands, but freezing facilities are available at the office.
